| Virtual Cable™ | The Pitch | Safety | Technology | Patents | About Us |
The worldwide, multi-billion dollar car navigation market is currently growing by double-digit percentages annually and in some markets, by triple-digit percentages. However, many drivers find current navigation systems cumbersome and stressful. Consumers who own a car navigation system, rarely use it. The existing systems are inherently and measurably distracting, especially to older drivers.
What we're offering is the simplest, most powerful, safest display for a car navigation system.
Think of the freedom you'll gain to go where you want with confidence:
The Virtual Cable™ display is a component of the automotive navigation market and can be integrated with ANY method of route planning: voice interface, in-car instrument panel screen, portable map display system, cell phone, PDA, or PC. The interface between the Virtual Cable™ display and the route planning devices provides component independence: the route-planning devices can be upgraded or replaced and still maintain compatibility with the installed Virtual Cable™ display.
Cell phones and portable GPS systems try as they will, they won't find a better route display than the Virtual Cable™. Because they must be portable, their display area is per se limited.
The Virtual Cable™ display is a component of the automotive navigation market that can't be replaced by cell phones or portable GPS systems. Those portable alternative systems can be integrated with the Virtual Cable™. They are potential partners rather than competitors.
We believe, Virtual Cable™ has the potential to become the predominant method of car navigation and is a key to unlocking the potential power of the in-car location based services (LBS) market.
The reluctance to use the existing car navigation systems during routine driving limits the use of and the value LBS. These services (such as the travel and shopping assistance, advertising, etc.), have revenue potential far greater than that of the manufacturing and sale of the navigation hardware. The Virtual Cable™ is so intuitive and non-intrusive that we believe that it will be used more frequently than existing systems. The screens in these systems, currently showing maps, can be freed up to display LBS information instead. A passenger could input data to a navigation system without interfering with the Virtual Cable™ display observed by the driver.
As the navigation market has been maturing, the Virtual Cable™ is very well placed to take advantage of these developments:
